About Raphaela Bravo

Hi! I’m an international student from Brazil currently studying Social Work at Grand Canyon University. I’m passionate about building meaningful connections, amplifying underrepresented voices, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and valued. At GCU, I’m part of the Honors College and serve as a student leader in the Multicultural Office, where I help plan cultural events and support diverse student communities. I also work as a Junior Counselor for the ABSN (Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing) program, where I support nursing students through academic and personal challenges, an experience that’s strengthened my skills in empathy, communication, and mentorship. I’m especially passionate about advocacy, intergenerational connection, and community outreach. Whether it’s through volunteering or creating inclusive campus spaces, I’m committed to making a positive impact through service and social work.
