About Raquel Bell

As a wellness enthusiast and certified fitness specialist for the world renowned human performance company EXOS, a few characteristics about myself stand out. I am a results focused, detail-oriented, and ambitious individual. I studied and was advised within the Department of Applied Arts and Sciences at San Jose State University, more specifically in relation to the field of human kinetics. In diving deep into the field of Kinesiology(Specialization: Movement Science), I narrowed my focus from the simple belief that physical activity is good for all able-bodied individuals, to pursuing a career aimed at creating and maintaining a higher quality of quality life, health, and wellness across the lifespan for all individuals, not limited to their physical capabilities. Being located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, it leaves me privy to the unique demographics of a diverse population of innovative minds to interact with on a daily basis, thus teaching me the skills needed to put theory into practice in the world outside of academia. My main interests are making connections and working with others who invest time into their overall health and wellness, while also being able to give back to the community they are a part of through sharing knowledge, time and substantial resources. Volunteer work is one thing I enjoy participating in as an effort to give back to those who want to better the community and their lives through staying active, aware, and keeping well.
