About Rashard Griffith

my goals are to bring my knowledge and experience as a professional athlete, youth sports camp director and mentor/trainer of young college athletes and give back to the community through sports and education. i am determined to help the underprivileged youth of today as it holds meaningful fulfillment to give back to those that have limited opportunities. i have been fortunate for the opportunities throughout my life and want to continue this cycle as a way to pay it forward. i believe in having strong families and strong communication with family, friends and colleagues. i plan to continue my work as a team manager for the university of wisconsin basketball team upon graduation in 2020. i would eventually like to hold a position as head of player development with the uw men's basketball team. my future goals would be working with community on behalf of the university, help student athletes on and off the court and create programs for kids in the surrounding communities. my long term goal is to start my very own non profit that helps underprivileged youth by providing them with a safe place, basketball camp and academic help. i would also like to create programs for young and older adults that teach job skills and training to prepare them for work and their career.
