About Rashi Mistry

From clinical care in India to public health research in Boston, my journey has always centered on one goal: improving health systems by making them more inclusive, data-driven, and human-centered. Trained as a General Dentist in India and now a public health professional with a Master of Public Health from Boston University, I apply a broad public health lens to improve population health through interdisciplinary work across academic, governmental, and community settings. My public health experience spans data analysis, research, and teaching. At the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, I analyzed population-based dataset of over records covering key social determinants of health. As a Graduate Research Assistant in the Ilori Lab at Boston Medical Center, I contribute to research on chronic kidney disease and health disparities in non-communicable diseases. Additionally, I have mentored over 200 students across five public health courses over three semesters as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.
