About Rasmus Steiness

I am a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in the UK and the Netherlands, working across our London and Amsterdam offices. I advise multinational clients on aligning international tax and transfer pricing strategies with their operational and commercial objectives. My work spans a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, and industrials. I support clients through cross-border transactions and business transformations—covering group reorganisations, operating model design and implementation, international expansion, intellectual property structuring, and the pricing of financial transactions. A key part of my role involves helping clients anticipate and manage tax and operational risks, ensuring they are well-positioned to meet regulatory expectations while enabling growth. I place strong emphasis on stakeholder alignment—particularly in large, complex organisations—ensuring that tax planning is commercially grounded and operationally sustainable. Before joining A&M, I spent seven years at Deloitte in Amsterdam and London, most recently as Director. I have also delivered projects in Denmark and Australia, giving me broad international experience across a range of regulatory and business environments.
