Raul E Rivero is Co-Founder & Partner at Allied Engineering an Engineering & Construction Consulting firm based in Miami, Florida. Raul has performed over damage assessments and forensic investigations and possess extensive knowledge of building means, methods and details. Raul attended FIU's College of Engineering and Design for undergraduate and Master’s level studies. He later received an MBA from Florida International University and a Bachelor degree from TIU. Raul is a court approved expert, rendering testimony in 100’s of cases regarding building systems and components, and has authored of reports. Raul is a regular guest speaker at conferences and has appeared on TV and radio, and is a relied-on expert for many organizations and institutions. He has over 40 years experience in new Construction, Reconstruction and Restoration of Residential and Commercial structures. Raul holds several state licenses including a Florida General Contractor's License, All Lines Insurance Adjuster's License, as well as, a Florida Real Estate License. Raul has been the General Contractor and Project Manager in the construction, restoration and reconstruction of hundreds of homes and commercial structures. Raul began his career in Construction and Real Estate Development in his family's business. As a vertically integrated firm, Raul developed skill sets in the areas of land acquisition, project financing architectural design, general contracting and project management as well as real estate sales and project development. Raul has testified as an expert in hundreds of depositions & numerous trials. He is an insurance policy & property damage claims expert & has been licensed as an insurance adjuster for 30 years having worked in the capacity of a company adjuster, independent adjuster & public adjuster with specializations in Catastrophe & daily property damage claims. In 2006, Raul was appointed by Florida’s CFO as governing board member to Florida's CPCJUA. Raul is an appraiser and umpire in arbitration for disputed property damage claims. Raul is also a glazing systems expert. His firm, RR Windows & Doors, a window dealer and installer specialized in the procurement & installation of impact glass & aluminum railings systems in residential, commercial and mid rise structures. Raul is an adjunct professor at TIU where he taught courses in Business Communications, Non-Profit Management, Managerial Economics, Principles of Management, Marketing, Organizational Culture & Leadership & Human Resource Management.
