About Raven McCray

I am a proud first-generation graduate with both a BA and AA in Psychology. My academic journey has been driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and helping others. Currently, I am pursuing an Addictions Counseling Certificate at Kent State University to further my expertise in this field. Throughout my time at Kent State, I have gained valuable experience working as a Security Officer at the Kent State University Museum, where I provide security services and customer assistance. Additionally, I have served as a Student Leader for the Kupita Transiciones program, mentoring and orienting newly admitted and transfer African American, Latinx, Hispanic, Native American, and Multiracial students. My skills and interests lie in interpersonal communication, group leadership, psychology, and health care. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. I am eager to connect with professionals and organizations that share my dedication to promoting well-being and recovery.
