They say "if you love something let it go." So that's what I did. I let writing go and it came back to me in several different forms. I was always a writer and I always will be. But I am also a multifaceted individual with experience in advertising, sales and communications. I am also skilled in marketing and PR. What started out as a dream to be a newspaper journalist evolved into a journey of growth. I allowed myself to take every opportunity no matter the industry. No matter what, I have found myself writing; from copy for an ad, to articles for a college alumni magazine. Writing has always been there, and it always will be. My name is Raven. I am passionate about strategic communications, storytelling and building relationships. I seek opportunities that combine the worlds of communications and strategic thinking in the realm of public relations. I leverage my experience in analytics to create communications/marketing plans that reach various audiences, meet stakeholders expectations and sell products or ideas. I am well versed in brand and account management and I can create content via blogs, press releases, speech/statement writing and more. Research is key to my work and influences every decision. I secured ads that saw millions in impressions while at The Baltimore Sun and iHeartMedia. I collaborated with event directors on events such as the Inauguration of President Samue Hoi to MICA and a Welcome to The Hill event for members of Congress while at the Personal Care Products Council.
