I have over 7 years of experience working in Immunology and research & development. Currently, I work as a Clinical Lab Scientist II at NBTC, where I lead a cross-functional team of six, testing blood donations across 5 platforms that are helping patients by providing essential transfusions in emergency situations, for medical treatments, surgeries, chronic diseases, supportive care, and trauma situations, ultimately saving and improving lives. I'm deeply passionate about advancing medicine through innovations in product safety, efficacy, and compatibility, as well as exploring new technologies, techniques, and protocols to enhance patient outcomes and improve the quality of medical devices. Previously, I worked at Immucor as a Senior Verification Technologist, validating new diagnostic assays and supporting product development efforts while ensuring regulatory compliance. I was also able to restart the company’s community outreach program. As the site coordinator I was able to host 4 service projects that yielded 65% employee participation. If you catch me outside of work, I'm an adventurous traveler - 40 states, 10 countries and counting - and an avid lover of the Atlanta Braves! I also like meeting new people over a cup of coffee.
