Handling post fixture operations of vessel trading in Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and Asia Pacific region. • Stowage / Voyage planning to meet safety criteria, international/domestic regulation, Charterer’s requirements and economic efficiency. Implement effective stowage planning to lift maximum cargo. • Communicate with external parties, including but not limited to Vessel Masters, Shipping Agents, Port Captains, Cargo Charterers, Cargo Brokers, Surveyors, Vessel Technical Managers, and any concerned parties. • Coordinating with Master, Surveyor to make cargo holds fit for loading clean cargoes. Ensuring the operational performance of vessels. On time arrival and first hold survey passed to avoid all production losses and costs. • Working on ships management softwares – VIP IMOS, SEDNA, ZERO North vessel optimization, DA Desk, VSPE, Weather routing - AWT/AMI/WNI, PAL, CP indicator, Performance monitoring tools etc. • Experience of operating vessels carrying cargos such as Alumina, Fertilizers, Grain, Coal, Iron ore, Sulphur, Bauxite, Limestone, Steel Coils, Logs etc. • Effective bunker optimization/bunker planning on the ballast and/or laden passage. • Providing timely and precise instructions to agents & coordinating with them throughout. • Input vessel movement information / cargo operation into specific operation management software (IMOS) and PAL. • Monitor Voyage PnL through relevant operation management software (IMOS and PAL). • Handle Bill of Lading, i.e, issuance and collection of B/L, to obtain LOI from charterer/broker through commercial channels and instruct cargo release order for concerned parties in accordance with Charter Party provisions. • Manage the filing of the vessel’s documents, i.e, notice of readiness, cargo operation log & time sheet, cargo documents, protest letter etc. • Update the vessel's itinerary for Charterer/broker in accordance with Charter Party provisions. • Send port time with shipping documents to charterer/broker in accordance with Charter Party provisions. • Liaise with lay time team to issue freight invoices with supporting documents. • Handle and follow up Claims matters with Owners and Charterers. Respond to vessel issues, cooperating with concerned parties until resolution. • Handle regular hire payment with counter party and final hire settlement with them. • Training to juniors and newly joined colleagues.
