In a career spanning nearly twenty years, I have worked in the architectural, urban planning, design, engineering consulting firms, construction industry, local government council and tertiary educational institution. I have served in the capacity of an architect, urban designer and a team leader where I inspired my team through knowledge sharing, information dissemination and nurturing innovation. Whether establishing a landscaping and nursery business at an early age as an entrepreneurial exercise or working at multi-million design and construction projects as an architect or team leader in complex service-based organisations, I have demonstrated strong commercial acumen with highly developed project management, negotiation and communication skills. Having worked across many corporates with my value based empathetic behaviour and expertise in human behaviour and design, I have developed sharp understanding of corporate culture, change management and ability to connect grass root resources to strategies, policy and vision. My career aspiration is to take up a challenging role of balancing technical, social and environmental aspects of development and lead complex projects where I can contribute with my technical experiences, people skills, lateral thinking, innovative and radical ideas to ensure the business exceeds expectations in customer service, optimization of resources, establish efficient processes, maximize revenue generation, and create safe, sustainable and healthy work practice.
