About Ray Arevalo

I am a registered Landscape Architect licensed in both Louisiana and Georgia. Over the years I have had the opportunity to design and build two golf courses whereby I am the Architect of record. Both are still successfully operating and doing business today. In addition, my experienced has allowed me to design small & large scale residential developments in the capacity of both the Planner / Designer as well as the Founder / Owner. During the installation of these projects, I managed other sub contractors such as: Golf Course Contractors, General Contractors, Engineers, and Surveyors. Throughout this process all necessary permitting was achieved through the necessary planning & zoning boards as well as state permitting when needed. Equally as important but on a smaller scale, I have designed commercial landscapes through my own business for various clients. Drawings were completed in Auto-Cad and met specific city guide lines and local zoning board requirements to achieve full approval. Bid documents drawings were also prepared for the clients. Currently, I practice for a design build firm that specializes in residential design and installation. Projects include: Master planning residential properties; Pool designs; Fire place & fire pit patios; Water features; Retaining walls; Grading, contouring & landscape implementation. My responsibilities include: Initial sales call, Site visit analysis, Conceptual design, Estimating, Preparing contract documents, Presentation renderings, Presenting to the clients and daily site management of the installation crews and subcontractors to achieve a fully functional and completed project.
