About Ray Arzate

A storyteller at heart, Ray Arzate is the managing partner / owner of Storyville RD, a company that shares the skills he has acquired through the years with people, businesses and organizations whose story needs to be told. Ray has worked in the business for over 20 years all over the country. He started off in El Paso, TX as a studio camera operator and moved up to Photojournalist. He then worked in Nashville for 4 years before moving to Atlanta to work as a MMJ for CBS 46. He moved back to Nashville as a special project’s photographer. In 2015 Ray made the move for the west coast and the Las Vegas Market where he was the chief photographer at KSNV and then KVVU. He was also the promotions manager at KVVU before founding Storyville RD. He has won 32 Emmy Awards, 12 AP Broadcasters Awards, 3 Edward R. Murrow, 3 Promax Awards, 4 NPPA Best of Photojournalism Contest Awards & was a Silver Gavel Award Finalist. Ray also serves on the Executive Board of Governors & the education committee for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Pacific Southwest Chapter and is the chair of the NPPA Best of Photojournalism competition."What unites people?
