About Ray Blakemore

After moving to the Netherlands I have gained a wealth of experience from the companies I`ve worked for (Hewlett Packard, Dutchtone/Orange and Newtel Essence). Everything from an online agent fixing networking problems through to maintaining the I.T. systems at a busy call centre,making sure that network / voip systems keep working for various companies. Now working for nearly 6 years at Booking.com from I.T. Services First line now Senior In 2020 I was one of the Playmaker and Inclusionist awardees which came as both as surprise and was a very humbling experience. Specialties: from HP: networking / Jet Direct and printer solutions Orange: hardware / software / networking / mobile telephony and working under pressure Newtel: more remote based server work and VOIP knowledge and administration Booking.com: for over 6 years now I've been at Booking. all I can say is its been an eye opener working for such a large and still growing company. In this time I've tried not to turn down any chances for growth and thoroughly enjoyed every moment til now. For me i see the future here to use the Orange statement more or less"the future is bright. the future is Booking". I've learned a lot of both on a technical, professional and personal level working here and can honestly say i would recommend the place to other people.
