About Ray Keogh

I have more than 30 years' insurance industry experience and in my career to date I’ve held a number of senior underwriting, business development & management positions, both nationally and internationally. UNDERWRITING – I have a proven track record in both underwriting and managing property & casualty business. This includes technical rating, drafting wordings, product development, exposure management, reinsurance protection and within that I also have some fleet underwriting experience. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – I have consistently met or exceeded targets, with strong broker relationships that have been built up over many years. I have always had a focus on business development but I’ve also worked with brokers and clients in managing a renewal book of business. LEADERSHIP – I've always tried to build sustainable & long-term relationships with senior management, colleagues & brokers alike. I am a team player but also a leader and I have been involved in coaching, mentoring, motivating, training and developing team members in recent years. I have also completed a number of Leadership Development courses. Before joining Zurich I held various underwriting, business development and management positions, the most recent of which were with Travelers, Mitsui and AIG.
