About Ray Lynn

I would describe myself as a motivated individual with many years’ experience in engineering and related disciplines. I have managed large teams of multi-disciplined people during my career and still find the experience rewarding. I joined Tubelines at its inception and have worked alongside Project and Operation staff during the implementation of our enterprise systems, I believe I have a good knowledge of our enterprise applications and have been specifically targeted to implement LiveLink,SharePoint as part of our IM / BIM strategy. I am a member of a best practice group working with Transport for London (TfL) & London Underground (LU), also work closely with our sub-contractors to improve collaboration and single source of information As Tubelines Information’s & Knowledge manager, I am responsible for Strategy Process procedure and all IM & KM governance. My key target area is configuration management, I am working with or six sigma team and asset management teams in order to identify process improvement and to automate our processes. We are using SharePoint as a document control system and linking the required documents to our asset register in Maximo. Working within a maintenance management and information management discipline throughout my career I have developed an excellent understanding of customer need and requirements management. During that time Ihave always worked closely with IT specialists and have a good understanding of the disciplines required during implementation and change management. My past experiences in Rail related Contract Management and Project management in the UK and Abroad has also given me a wider knowledge of maintenance and information delivery requirements.
