Water Management & Business Development Co-founder of Algae Control Canada, a water and wastewater company that works with industry to create and implement sustainable water and wastewater solutions in surface water bodies, tanks, recirculating water systems, and wastewater. Working with a global network of suppliers, I have delivered a comprehensive mix of remediation and management solutions to customers in mining; intensive agriculture; municipalities and industry as well as owners of private water bodies. A key part of my approach is to use science that has proven results. This has led Algae Control to utilize bio-augmentation; advanced-efficiency aeration; phosphorus control; ultrasonic installations; and bioaugmentation. After years in finance, I started in water management when I joined the family business, Smoky Trout Farm - one of the largest commercial trout stocking facilities in the province of Alberta. In addition to being the business development manger for recirculating freshwater fish farm, I also work with agricultural and private clients to create exceptional freshwater ecosystems, capable of supporting sustainable private and public fisheries.
