About Ray Martinez

I work with individuals and groups building more liberated futures. I take joy in crafting individual, institutional and cultural transformation with folks, by asking meaningful questions and encouraging paths forward through my work as a facilitator, coach and evaluator. Using data and relationships to fortify social change work, I bring an anti-racist feminist approach to my practice. I hold a fervent belief that the best solutions come from community. I weave together insights gained through my experiences in philanthropy, higher education, sexual violence prevention and social work to offer a variety of supports to people and organizations doing the good work. Some experiences I've enjoyed- training and coaching individuals to organize their networks to fund projects they care about - evaluating non-profit programs and practices - facilitating collective decision making processes - developing curriculum on racial capitalism - holding space for multiracial groups moving towards collective action - management coaching - strategic thought partnering, especially when I get to use my math brain- designing community-based programs (one of my favs) The process is the outcome.
