I am an energetic HSE Supervisor / Fire Chief / Emergency Preparedness Professional in the petroleum/petrochemical refining, oil and gas industry. I am self-motivated and able to work without supervision, as well as being a team player. I take great pride in getting the job done and doing it well. In my career, I am accustomed to working with all levels of management, operations, maintenance, and contract employees. I have excellent management, coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills. Areas of Experience: •Excellent management, coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills. •Manage health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. •Develop and implement health and safety standards and compliance strategies. •Liaison with management and engineering on plant operating system upgrades, construction, and turnarounds. •Provide HSE leadership and support of safety programs for turnarounds and new constructions sites. •Responsible for safety, employee development, and training. •Design and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, PHMSA, and EPA guidelines and other governmental regulations. •Participate in risk assessment, PHA’s, MOC’s, gap analysis, audits, PSSR’s, incident investigations, and initiate corrective actions to address root cause(s) and reduce risk of recurrence. •Develop and manage departmental budget, procurements, and expenditures. •Highly skilled in developing, training, and maintaining Emergency Preparedness and Incident Command System (ICS) programs.
