Extensive experience working with special committees of the board and their legal and financial advisors to complete complex, related party transactions that transformed businesses in 1992, 1993, 1998 and 2019. National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow from 2014 to 2022. CEO, CFO and Board leadership experience with expertise in corporate strategy and finance. Earned NACD/ CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight in August 2018. Experience includes 21 years as a corporate director for NASDAQ- listed companies including 17 years as an independent director and audit committee chair and 13 years as President, CEO and a director of publicly-traded land developer and homebuilder. Also served six years as the CFO of a publicly-traded, commercial and residential real estate developer, extensive M&A experience including Fortune 500 conglomerate (scientific and medical products, trash-to-energy, manufacturing of specialty chemicals and auto parts, rail car leasing, aerospace and real estate) and seven years with “Big 4” CPA firm (technology and telecommunications clients). Proven track record of creative problem solving and successfully negotiating deals under pressure.
