I have recently retired from Centric Health after an amazing 25 years and am so grateful to all my colleagues as we experienced the privilege of sharing a professional partnership in General Practice through the creation of a network of over 80 GP practices throughout Ireland. I hold an adjunct Associate Clinical Professor appointment at the U.C.D. School of Medicine. I am a co-creator of The Healthcare Cure and Vital Signs - two film documentaries that shine a light on the impact of the deep and meaningful relationship between patients and their GPs that ought to be celebrated. Our focus is about prevention and not hyper-intervention, it is moving from a sickness to a wellness model, it is about having the time to hear our patients concerns and strive to keep them healthy in their own communities.
