Ray Rome (they/them) is a Licensed Certified Social Worker, sexuality educator, and artist working in the state of Massachusetts. Ray holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University in Chester, PA. Their professional experience includes both inpatient and outpatient treatment, primarily working with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and sexuality-related challenges. Ray has experience developing and facilitating psycho-educational groups for clients on harm reduction, consent & boundaries, and STI prevention. They have co-developed and co-facilitated professional development trainings on providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Ray provides compassionate, culturally responsive mental health treatment through a strengths-based and holistic lens prioritizing client autonomy. Ray is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, centering anti-racism in their practice.
