About Raya Mizuguchi

I am a 4th year kinesiology student minoring in psychology. Through my degree at the University of Victoria I have been able to explore both fields which have lead me to the goal of pursuing physiotherapy, more specifically within a neurological setting. My work experience varies from customer service roles, to working with children at summer camp, to my current position overseeing 40+ residents living on campus at UVic. Each of these experiences have allowed me to build a strong foundation in a wide variety of skillsets and have taught me to adapt to differing environments. Growing up as a dancer, movement has had a large impact on me and my degree in kinesiology has allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of its value and role in promoting wellness. I hope to continue in this field and share my fondness for the different dimensions of health while doing so!
