About Rayan Jamali

I am an environmental scientist with more than 5 years experience in water and recycled wastewater industry. I have worked on a range of projects including contaminated lands, embracing recycled wastewater for agricultural and cultivation purposes, throughout Australia, Japan and Iran. My career objective is to use my skills to deliver positive environmental outcomes for the team I am playing in by developing innovative solutions, helping to drive our team through the planning process and implementing successful projects. My personal aim is to work and play as a member of an environmental industry team which is empowered to perform to their highest level of capability. I am a passionate, focussed, energetic and versatile individual with a fair knowledge and background in plantation, chemicals, agents and reagents and conduction of scientific research, sampling and laboratory analysis. I have graduated in Master by research of Environmental Science – Water Resource Management within the SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse and holding work experience working within the university laboratory. Parenthetically, I have done more than two years of field work, plantations, and research related to wastewater supplied by WWTP the Bolivar in South Australia and have selected key highlights to demonstrate my skills and experience- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to interact with researchers in a constructive, creative and professional manner- Proven interpersonal skills able to work well with a variety of professionals and individuals- Self motivated, able to set effective priorities to achieve immediate and long term goals- Excellent research potential and an ability to actively contribute to the research project goals- Knowledge of related chemicals, maintaining safe workplace practice and procedures in accordance with set regulations and legislations. During my two years of research project in the SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse, also the months, at University of Nagoya, Japan; I engaged with fair field sampling and laboratory skills and also excellent written and verbal communication skills through exchange ideas with my supervisors verbally or over my report writings. I also learnt about chemicals, contaminated lands and safety through working on fields for sampling and laboratories.
