About Rayan Shayya

As a Senior Consultant at Portas Consulting, I bring a diverse background and a passion for driving impactful change in the sports industry across the Middle East. Over the past three years, I’ve progressed through various roles within the firm, starting as a Business Analyst and advancing to my current position. My work involves collaborating with leading sports organizations to develop and implement strategies that drive sector growth. Before joining Portas, I gained valuable experience in geospatial intelligence and financial services, where I developed strong communication and leadership skills. These roles broadened my expertise and prepared me for success in my subsequent positions. I hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), where I studied through the prestigious USAID scholarship. I am driven by a continuous desire to learn and grow, both professionally and personally. I thrive in dynamic environments that challenge me to innovate and lead, and I am dedicated to delivering excellence in every project I undertake. Outside of work, I value building meaningful connections and am always eager to explore new opportunities and experiences that broaden my perspective.
