About Rayann Bryan
A PhD student at the University of Greenwich researching the lived experiences of Black Caribbean mothers and daughters who immigrated to Britain during the Windrush period (1950s to 1960s). Also, I am the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thelma Matilda Alves Foundation a mental health organisation that is dedicated to preserving and protecting the mental well being of black Caribbean women. I am an enthusiastic, adaptive, fast-learning person with a broad and acute interest in social research regarding race, gender and social justice. I enjoy collaborating with activists and researchers from different disciplines to develop new skills and create an interdisciplinary approach to societal injustices.
