Why Financial Advising? I never had even heard of Financial Advising until 2 semesters into college. Growing up on a family farm, I thought I would always be a farmer. I love the lifestyle, but I don't love everything about farming.When I heard about Financial Advising I still had my doubts. I had been taught my first semester in College how to do an informational interview. I decided to put those skills to the test. Participating in several interviews with different finance major jobs, and realizing my love with Financial Advising is all it took to pursue this career! Not only are we capable of helping businesses, but individuals as well! I love the aspect of Financial Advising that allows me to connect personally with those I serve. Relationships are truly the highlight of my life. It's amazing the type of relationships that working with others builds!
