About Rayhan Putra

When I was little my family took me to an aerospace exhibition in Indonesia. At the time, seeing aircrafts from up close makes me wonder how this big metal birdlike things could even fly in the air. What force generated to oppose the gravity force so the aircraft could fly in the air. And so, my interest in aerospace engineering started to build up. In college, my interest in aerospace engineering field become greater. I study about aircraft material, structure and load, aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, aircraft maintenance, airport and airlines management, satellite design, etc. From all those sub field in aerospace engineering, aerodynamics is having my most interest. In my 3rd and 4th year in college I took many elective courses that will support my aerodynamics field of study. To complete my undergraduate program, I took highspeed aerodynamics field as my final undergraduate project. After I graduate from college, I was given the opportunity to work on an Aircraft MRO company in Indonesia. The first time was assigned in a business support and performance management division. This may have nothing related to my undergraduate study, but it's always a good thing to learn something new and have a good addition to my working experience. As a business support and performance management division I was assigned to control budget of a maintenance project, analyse the productivity performance in the project, calculate profit and loss in a project to maximize profit, supporting production in budget realization, and support sales manager in material and manhours pricing. 2 years later I was assigned to a production planning and control division. As a production planning and control I was assigned to plan the daily production activities, controlling productivity, support production in providing material and component, support production and customer in engineering field, and ensure that the maintenance project runs as planned. Besides my daily routine working in an Aircraft MRO company, I'm a fish keeper, like to play chess, strategy games, sports, listen to music, and currently studying Japanese. Academics: Highspeed Aerodynamics, Aircraft Design, Spacecraft Design, Computation Fluid Dynamics. Working Experience: Performance Management, Budget Controlling, Project Management, Customer Service.
