Eighteen years within the Surveillance department of a major gaming and hotel enterprise. Starting as an officer to Assistant Surveillance Manager and then to Control Room Manager for the biggest racecourse in the country. I am a vibrant and dynamic woman with a passion for Surveillance and Security. I thrive in a team environment, interacting with people and managing challenging projects. Ambitious nature and hard-working attitude. I have strong strategic capabilities, business judgement and leadership across a multitude of gaming and hotel related fields (tables, cash desk, rooms, and customer service and betting halls). With strong communication skills refined from daily interaction, briefings and presentations for guests and work colleagues. Experience of managing Surveillance and Security teams with different skill sets, ages, and nationalities.2. With my exceptional marks in a National Management Certificate and me being PSIRA grade A registered, I can produce reports from information or evidence gained from investigations depending on the nature of the document. I execute, monitor, and analyse procedures and systems and provide information and recommendations to the relevant executives with regards to the effective running of the Surveillance operation. With this knowledge I have been called upon time and time again to perform Complex Manager Duties for all areas of the business, from gaming incidents to hotel related issues. Even when not scheduled for Complex Manager I am called upon for assistance. In my last position of Surveillance Assistant Manager, I performed administrative duties, supervised junior staff, investigated high profile cases and incidents, monitored, and conducted disciplinary enquiries as well as gave advice to staff and colleagues. I ensured compliance within the company in line with gaming regulations. I am known to have the following skills, strategic planning, organising, delegating, people skills, and strong communication. Because of this I was nominated as the Top Complex Achiever for 2010 at Mmabatho Palms Hotel Casino and Convention Resort. I always strive to achieve the best from all staff.4. I consider myself to be a responsible, ambitious and a hard-working individual. I am ready and capable of performing any task with enthusiasm and to the best of my ability. I have learnt immensely from my past experiences because I have had a vast amount of interaction with people which has resulted in me becoming more amicable, outspoken, and approachable and above all a more confident individual.
