About Raymond Blake

Raymond Blake is a Senior Audit Manager with over 12 years of extensive accounting, auditing and consulting experience servicing both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He has planned, coordinated and conducted audits of nonprofit organizations including: social service organizations, child care service organizations, rehabilitation facilities, charitable, and fundraising and membership organizations including those requiring audits pursuant to OMB Circular A-133 and, now, under the new Uniform Guidance. Prior to joining Marks Paneth, Mr. Blake worked as a senior accountant with a “Big 4” firm in the business practice outsourcing accounting group where he was involved with providing accounting services to various non-profit and for profit entities. Mr. Blake also worked as an auditor for a small CPA firm located in New York City which specialized in compliance audits of various government and non-government entities in the health care industry. In addition, Mr. Blake spent much of his early career working as a staff accountant with a major insurance company located in New York City in the managed care industry. Mr. Blake holds a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree obtained from Bernard Baruch College with a major in Accounting. Mr. Blake is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
