Currently contributes to company strategy, challenging assumptions and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers at Barton Firtop Engineering while translating ambitious vision into plans to delivering growth. Previously called upon success preparing / analysing financial reports to summarise and forecast financial positions, including preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT returns, calculation of cost accruals and prepayments and P&L / Balance Sheet reconciliation at API Heat WHY An accomplished Head of Finance with over 18 years proven track record in accountancy and 8 years post ACCA chartered accountant experience. Accounts and Business have always excites me from a very tender age, so it gives me great pleasure to be working in this profession. Over the last few years I set on this journey to attain and improve my skills so that I can improve a company performance and ultimately the profit. I’m not just the conventional accountant that prepares and reports the numbers but someone that has an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset to increase a company profit. I have a burning desire to help a business grow and excel. I get great satisfaction to assist in a team and business partnering to achieve company goals.
