Currently I serve as an Assessor Representative for the Office of the Assessor in Los Angeles County. My present assignment has me advocating for the Assessor's Office in the hearing of real property assessment appeals before the Los Angeles County Assessment Appeals Board. Previously I had been assigned to the Major Real Property Division where I reviewed appraisals for Central Commercial/Industrial properties located throughout the county. However my career has providing me with diverse experience in many different fields. From working on a #1 morning drive radio talk show to navigating Southland traffic in the transportation of the sick and injured to local hospitals as an EMT and ambulance driver: Worked as a Studio Engineer and Producer in Los Angeles AM radio industry. Worked in a fast paced highly competitive environment, dealing with heavy demands and difficult personalities. Emergency Medical Technician in Los Angeles County. Working in both the field and in management developed skills to deal with stressful situations with demands from administrators, doctors, nurses and patients. Developed strong employee management skills. Formerly and operations managers for a small independent Heavy Duty truck repair facility. Responsible for purchasing, product research, customer service and workforce management. Also involved in long term business development.
