Areas of Competence • Offshore structures (FPSO, Semi-submersible and Fixed Platform topsides) • Onshore structures (Natural Refinery, LNG, E-house Substation Building and Modular Technical Room) • Infrastructure (Combined Hotel/Apartment Residential Building) • Conversant with relevant industry standards : AISC, API-RP-2A, DNV-OS-C101, DNV-RP-C203, C204, Eurocode, Singapore Code, BS 8110 and NORSOK • Conversant with design and analyses related to in-place, lifting, load-out transportation, sea transportation, blast, sea-fastening, grillage and fatigue. • Able to design/analyse secondary steels such as davit, monorails, bridge crane, lifting lugs/padeyes – installation aids, base plate, welded or bolted connections and grillage or transportation beams, pipe supports, HVAC supports and access platforms. • Able to perform steel and reinforced concrete design. Familiar with timber and masonry design. • Able to prepare Structural design calculation reports, structural design basis, Material Take Off and Weight Control Reports • Able to provide sketch, check and supervise structural designer/draftsman. • Able to perform lead position that involves Work Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Scheduling, Coordination with different disciplines, vendors and clients) Software Proficiency • Proficient in using general purpose structural analysis and FEM packages like SACS 5.4 v8i, STAAD Pro v8i, ETABS 2016, SAFE 2016, RAPT, SCONCRETE and Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Software 2017 • Can produce design reports in MS Word. • Can produce calculations in MS Excel. • Proficient with structural detailing and modelling (CAD) software like AutoCad 2017, Xsteel (Tekla Steel Structure) and BIM Revit 2017. • Has working knowledge of PDS/PDMS environment, Navisworks and CADview. • Knowledge of Xsteel (Tekla Steel Structure), CadView and Naviswork.
