About Raymond Olko

Be authentic. My most authentic self never could have imagined I would be selling anything for a career, but it's been a hell of a ride! At my core I am an artist, but have had some amazing experiences that have challenged me to develop into an effective people leader and sales professional. I tend to flourish in environments where I can be innovative and creative in real-time, dynamic environments, whether it is on-the-job at a work site or in face to face meetings where my energy can be transmitted. As both a sales and leadership professional and artist, I have found unique ways to have these skills be complementary. I have 10+ years in both inside and outside sales and marketing in a demanding, technical industry, where safety is paramount. My sales and marketing experience coupled with people and project leadership in dynamic environments require a unique eye for details and agility to adapt in real time as the projects, and people working them, play out. I find collaborating on a team rewarding, although being the project lead is where I typically find my groove. In addition to my professional career, I've studied martial arts for 30+ years, instructed youths and adults and lead original and cover bands as a singer and guitarist on stages of all sizes. I have a budding instrument lesson business and recording and rehearsal studio. However, the accomplishment I'm most proud of is being a single dad to my two children. I highlight "single" as it has been a unique experience that I've met head on despite the challenges and it is the job I embrace with great fervor. It is my aim to inspire, bring some levity to the single parent lifestyle and showcase this experience that we share, which has lead me to starting up a podcast. I encourage you to check it out.
