About Raymond Rowan

I am a General Practitioner with a broad range of experience in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and primary care ultrasound. Over the years, I have developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal health, gaining qualifications in Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and Musculoskeletal Injection Therapy, which complement my clinical practice. I take pride in continuous professional development and have recently completed a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Examination and Injury Management, as well as a Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership. These experiences build on my earlier work across various specialties, including emergency medicine, paediatrics, and psychiatry, which have given me a well-rounded clinical perspective. I am also fortunate to be involved in the growing field of Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for general practitioners in Ireland, an innovative practice that is still emerging in the country.
