About Rayna Dunlap

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Youth Studies and recently earned my Master of Social Work degree. I have experience in children’s crisis services, providing crisis response, de-escalation, and support to children, families, and community providers. I also facilitated community groups, connecting families to behavioral health services, and guided them through community resources. During my internship with the Ingham County Youth Center, I provided crisis intervention and support to juveniles detained for probation violations or new offenses. I worked with youth experiencing challenges at home, school, and in the community, helping prepare them for probation, residential placement, foster care, or group homes. My training also includes interning with Behavioral Health at University of Michigan Health–Sparrow in the Emergency Department, where I supported both children and adults with co-occurring disorders in high-acuity settings. I am passionate about advocacy, crisis intervention, and building strong community partnerships to empower children, families, and vulnerable populations.
