About Rayssa Justo

Graduated in Biomedicine from Universidade Federal Fluminense, I was an intern at the Laboratory of Experimental Analyzes for Synthesis of Biomaterials at the Department of Morphology at UFF. The lines of research developed in this laboratory at the time were divided into "alternative fixatives for the preservation of biological material" and "the use of compounds of plant origin as antimicrobials". Subsequently, I did an internship at the Technological Park of Life at the Vital Brazil Institute, where I worked with the Innovation and Technology Center and scientific writing at the Institute's Scientific Board. I worked from 2017 to 2019 in the marketing area and later in the technical-scientific area of ​​Laboratório Gross, a pharmaceutical company, where I created scientific content for training and advertising, learned about product development from a commercial perspective and worked with the regulatory affairs area. Because of this, I started the MBA in Marketing at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in September 2018, which ended in January 2021. In 2019, I assumed the position of Scientific Supervisor at DFL, another pharmaceutical company. In this role, I assumed the mission of supervising a technical-scientific sector in the area of ​​Research and Development of products to support the areas of new business development, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Education/Training and Quality Control. In 2020 I started a postgraduate course with the aim of obtaining the degree of specialist in clinical and forensic toxicology, completed in February 2021. With my expertise in toxicology, I was responsible for safety reports related to products and APIs. After a period of constant support to the commercial area, I was invited to return to the marketing area, taking care of the DFL product portfolio, which I accepted with great enthusiasm.
