About Rayyan Basheer

Recent graduate from UBC where I studied Psychology and minored in Education (interpersonal development). I am passionate about development and equity in the counselling, coaching and psychology research field with a focus on multicultural communities. I have experience working in Human Advisory and Consulting, Higher Education, Community Engagement & Programming, Research, and Learning & Development, Teaching and Childcare fields. I conducted an independent research project for my undergrad thesis on exploring the psychology of third culture kids. As a third culture kid, I developed strong critical and cultural awareness from living in three different countries and attending and working at an international school, while also developing strong interpersonal, collaboration and project management skills.
