I am an extremely motivated and capable finance professional with proven experience of leading and executing challenging assignments in multi-dimension roles. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA – Australia, FCCA – UK and FCA – Pakistan) with 15+ years’ post-qualification experience across the Middle East and Asia. I have expertise in Finance & Accounting, Reporting & Control, IFRS implementation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modeling, Procurement, Compliance, Legal, Collections, Information Technology, Information Security, Business Transformation including Change Management, Business Strategy (planning & execution), Debt raising and Balance sheet restructuring. I have successfully implemented Core Banking & ERP system (Oracle) from 2009 to 2011 and led the first true sale residential mortgage securitisation transaction between 2018 and 2019. I have diversified the business and restructured the balance sheet resulting in the transformation of the loss-making entity to a profitable company in 2014.During my tenure with the financial services companies, I have led the Finance function with demonstrable success in implementing accounting systems, managing audits, implementing best practices, policies and processes, managing business transformation in the organization, development and review of MI and reports (including reporting to the Shareholders and boards), budgets and forecasts and also preparing/reviewing the annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.Track record of High Performance- Automation of budgeting and reporting processes using technology- Received “Young CFO of the year 2015” award from CPI Media Group and “ACCA of the year 2015” award from MECA CFO Alliance for raising debt- Successfully led the structuring of the first true sale residential mortgage-backed securitisation transaction from the UAE- Implemented automated IFRS accounting solution for mortgage loans using the Oracle system. ADF was awarded “Best Use of Technology Award” in 2011 at Banker Middle East for this implementation.
