About Razan Shwayhat

Razan Shwayhat studied Nutrition and Food Processing at the University of Jordan. Equipped with the passion and knowledge in Food, Nutrition and Health Razan helped many people in UAE and Jordan and reached larger number of people through the different kinds of media. Printed media such as Jordan Times Newspaper – Jordan, Lifestyle Magazine – Dubai, as for the TV Razan covered the nutrition segment in several program such as Finjan Qahwa and Asraroha at Dubai TV, Al Osra Al Asriya at Sama Dubai and at Ro’ya TV – Jordan producing and presenting cooking show, competition for weight loss. As for the radio, the program “Calories” at Mazaj Fm – Jordan provides daily applied tips about nutrition and health. Razan published her first book in 2015 titled “ Ghizaak Sihtak غذاؤك صحتك” i.e your food is your health. The 300-pages book aim to help people understand and apply healthy cooking and healthy eating habits with more than 100 recipes with calorie and nutrient analysis for each recipe. Through her work with many chefs and restaurants she was able to twist recipes to a lower calories and healthier option and also to analyze the Nutrition content in terms of calories and %daily value as per the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards. Razan has became an Ambassador for many healthy brands such as Nestle and Kaseeh Food Production performing nutrition workshops teaching mothers how to eat and serve healthy food for their families. Razan performs awareness & intervention programs for many companies, schools & general public. She continues education through membership with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics & attending Nutrition & Health conferences.
