About Razi Malik

I am an experienced senior finance professional, with outstanding financial and commercial acumen and track record in leading operations for organisations with proven success. My experience extends to the management of large-scale (US$800m) PP manufacturing plants, creating subsidiaries, Construction phase accounting of medium to large manufacturing plant (US $ 1.2 Bn), construction and project insurances and robust financial controls. With an innate understanding of financial processes, procedures and requirements, including Islamic finance I have demonstrable success in driving positive business transformation and improvement projects including innovative automation projects such as the implementation of SAP applications. As an effective communicator I am able to secure engagement from all stakeholders and interested parties, influence the strategic decision making process at board level and drive productive and motivated teams. My ability to negotiate effectively is evident in my collaboration with financial advisors for an innovative Islamic facility (co ownership / Ijara structure) of $526m which was recognised in the Islamic Finance News Awards (2007).
