About Razi Mujtaba Haider

I have over 20 years of experience in Programme and Project Management and have contributed to various development projects in the ILO. I have also extensive experience in team management, communication, training and mentoring, governance, project development, community engagement. Have worked in projects related to gender equality, project related to promotion of decent work in the informal economy in the backdrop of COVID-19, Project related to Improving livelihood and working conditions in the agro based food value chains Through my close association with major stakeholders in the fields of workers’ rights, I am well acquainted with their organizational mandate especially for LOFT Council, Danish Trade Union Movement, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Solidarity Centre and within Pakistan for Pakistan Workers Federation as well as dozens of smaller federations all over the country. My contribution with these stakeholders include fostering social dialogue for bi-lateral forums (including Pakistan’s WEBCOP), working as co-facilitator in national advocacy events and development of training manuals among others. Since 2003, I am associated with the International Labour Organization and have worked in the various Technical Cooperation Projects and Programmes of the ILO Pakistan Office. At present I am working as a National Project Coordinator in an ILO Project funded by the Government of Japan. The project focuses on the informal economy workers in Pakistan including the Domestic Workers, Home based workers, agriculture workers etc. Apart from that I am an excellent trainer having the appropriate skills and knowledge in imparting trainings. I am also a media/communication focal person for the ILO Pakistan Office and am representing the ILO in the United Nation Communication Group in Pakistan. I have ample experience in working with the employers organizations, workers organizations and with government departments and ministries in Pakistan. I have worked with the international trade unions like the LO/FTF ( Danish Trade Union for International Development), JILAF, ISCOS, Solidarity Centre, FES etc. I am a professional who is committed to my work and like to take challenges and deliver my work in tight schedule and deadlines.
