About Razvan Serediuc

While working with IBM I gained a number of skills. From sample data creation to new features, bugfixing, release master tasks, patch creation to API testing, front-end testing, automatic tests creation for API and front-end, etc. I also was able to lead an operations-oriented team. We were in charge of bug fixes, patch creation, milestone and release candidates creation. As well as mantaining the used environments with deployed instances of our project. In this period of time I've been in charge of keeping in contact with client's people that were in charge of specific parts of the release process, translations, etc. I've been part of numerous big features that are part of the project I am a part of now. Also, multiple client-raised bug fixes were fixed by me with the required patch created after. My passion for computer science started when I was in 8th grade, when I first started to learn a programming language. It was pure curiosity. Started by having my own multiplayer server, that is how I learned Pawno (very much like C++). This was the spark that made me know that I am talented at programming. My high school profile was intensive mathematics and computer science- where I learned C++, and a little bit of FoxPro. Constantly active, curious to learn more got me top grades at the tests. Because I was so passionate about it I started the university in computer science learn a whole lot of new programming languages (Some examples are: Visual Basic, Java, php, css, c, c#, Python), took communication techniques course, did lots of interesting projects including car rentals database stored in a server at the University, a simple image editing app, simple games (hangman, counting games), learned MySQL, finished it and started this year a master’s degree also in computer science. After a master’s degree year (1 out of 2) I continued learning MySQL, python, also C (on Linux).
