Hello, this is Rebanta Roy, currently a PhD Scholar ( Junior Research Fellow ), at Chatterjee Lab, Bose Institute Kolkata working with Cancer Immunotherapy and non coding RNA intervention in Cancer. I'm a Certificate Fellow MalariaX, Harvard University and founder of The Advent Biological Society TABS, a Biological Educational Research Platform. I did my M.Sc. in Zoology, with specialization in Cell and Cancer Biology from the Department of Zoology, West Bengal State University and undergraduation in B.Sc Zoology Hons. from Department of Zoology, Barasat Government College. Being an Educator, there has always been limitations in developing the research temper, but I wish to focus on my dream to join a research group for my Ph.D. and later with all the acquired knowledge, I would wish to build up a research team for getting into the trenches of Research by getting acquinted into the various molecular pathways. I have worked on the master regulator of antioxiant proteins i.e. Nrf-2 and other stress derived molecules viz, HIF-1 alpha in their linkage to modulate the downstream biomolecules in a tumor micro-environment. I have also worked with two lncRNAs named MIR22HG and RP11- 213H15.3 while finding out their effects under hypoxia. I am specialized in cell biology and cellular immunology.
