As an accomplished event management and customer service professional, I offer extensive experience developing unique solutions to complex problems in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments. I have been recognized by my peers as a leader with expertise in marketing, vendor, staff and volunteer management, and planning and logistics. I am well known as an equal parts big picture innovator and detail-oriented project manager, who drives unique events from the initial spark of an idea through day of, boots on the ground execution. Career highlights that speak to my strengths and goals include: Directed the entire Eagle Hollow Haunts from initial concept through day-of production, including HR, staff management, training, promotions, organization, and logistics. Spearheaded a complete overhaul of the event in year 4, garnering an industry reputation for extremely low actor turnover while generating high performer and guest satisfaction. Created the annual Valentine’s Day event, Lincoln Vampire Ball, designing a unique experience to appeal to both singles and couples in a formal masquerade atmosphere. Sourced and negotiated multiple venues, including a key venue change allowing for a more inclusive experience for guests with mobility differences. Ideated and executed the annual event, Lincoln ZombieFest, growing from a flash mob with 130+ participants into a 2-day festival with 3K+ attendees, 100% run by volunteers. Hired, trained, and managed a team of 120+ volunteers as well as the event planning committee.
