About Rebecca Bottjer

Expat turned local in the beautiful town of Bansko, Bulgaria. As the Founder & CEO of Altspace Coworking, I've dedicated the last four years to transforming spaces into thriving communities. Our coworking spaces cater to a vibrant mix of expats, locals, digital nomads, and remote workers, fostering environments that encourage collaboration and innovation. I'm passionate about building communities and creating meaningful connections, whether it’s through expanding Altspace, engaging in local festivals, or renovating my traditional Bulgarian home. My journey from the UK to Bulgaria has filled my life with adventures in both business and nature, influencing how I view work-life balance and well-being. I'm on a mission to inspire and support others in their quest to create fulfilling lives and careers, no matter where they are in the world. Let's connect if you're passionate about coworking, community building, expat life, or simply finding joy in the mountains! Experienced community builder, fostering spontaneous interactions that help members to feel safe, welcome and able to collaborate. Passionate and forward thinking in helping to build relationships between the digital nomad and local Bansko community, to grow and improve amenities. Event planning and management, system builds and strategy.
