About Rebecca Lean

My love is to work with my clients using a person-centered approach to their careers and full expression of their talents. I’m grateful that my role as an actor's agent at Lee Leslie Management for the past 7 years has facilitated this style of working as we are a boutique agency with a philosophy of sourcing and negotiating compelling drama across diverse formats. We work with actors, singers and voice over artists in theatre, film and television and are positioned to help grow our actors with writing, directing and filmmaking skills in Australia and Internationally. In particular, with my qualifications from the School of Visual Arts and a Masters in Creative Writing from UTS, my background as a eurasian actress and many years in the film industry have informed the work I do now. These experiences have inspired and prepared me for the current focus on inclusiveness and authenticity in our approach to storytelling. Personally, I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies from kayaking to dancing (studied in Cuba) and Yoga which has led me to gain a Yoga Teachers Accreditation along with Mental Health First Aid, Yoga for Trauma and Working with Disabilities Certification. This has enabled me to teach and volunteer my yoga and meditation skills across hospitals and health clubs as well as becoming a contributing writer and lecturer at the International Yoga Teachers Association for the past 4 years.
