About Rebecca Walker

Hi! My name is Becca, and I am a current graduate student at Youngstown State University pursuing a master's degree in Social Work. I anticipate graduating in the spring of 2026. I completed my undergraduate education at Youngstown State University. I obtained a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in May 2025. My ultimate aspiration right now is to pass my licensure exam, participate in a clinical internship, and to further my education by pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work. Throughout my employment history, which began at the age of 16, I have held diverse positions such as desk attendant, fast-food worker, server, to-go member, personal shopper, student assistant at YSU Student Counseling Services, and currently, an OhioRise Behavior Health Respite provider at Cadence Care Network. Additionally, I am presently working as a student switchboard operator at YSU IT Services. During high school, I was actively engaged in a range of activities, with Concert Choir and National Honors Society being among my favorites. These activities enabled me to volunteer and inspire those around me. My academic prowess was acknowledged through multiple scholastic and academic awards, and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA. My passion for interacting with people, solving problems, organizing, and providing assistance to others drives me. I aspire to make a positive impact on the world, one person at a time, and have displayed resilience and adaptability in the face of obstacles, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
