About Rebecca Wolfe

I am passionate about teaching patients to care for themselves. I focus on healthy lifestyle and nutrition to help patients beat the chronic disease sinkhole. I use evidence based medicine and the philosophies and teachings of both Western and Eastern medicines to serve the “whole person”. I am a family physician with more than 25 years of experience in direct patient care, both outpatient and inpatient. My success in medicine is measured by how well patients understand their own health and disease processes, and how they can make change in their lives. I also became a medical acupuncturist to offer new ways of healing alongside traditional Western medicine, and when Western medicine has no answers. I have an undergraduate degree in sociology and medical sociology and am interested in the intersection of population health and cultural change. Preventive care that does not include a vision of a healthy community will never truly be achieved.
