As Financial Controller at Auger, I am responsible for the preparation of our monthly management accounts, which provide insight to our leadership team, enabling them to meet our targets and drive strong financial performance. Working within Auger's fast paced environment, I apply meticulous attention to detail to deliver a seamless invoicing process to ensure our clients receive precision and consistency. Using custom built technology to analyse a range of invoicing data ensures leakage and inaccuracies are kept to a minimum. Auger has provided me with the platform to continue my CIMA studies, working towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant. More recently this has involved implementing cost control measures, analysing spend patterns in order for us to reach new solutions to drive down costs. I am proud to work for Auger, a leading underground services and subsidence specialist working exclusively for the insurance industry across the UK. We are a data led business, harnessing in-house developed technology to deliver a customer journey deserving of our exceptional NPS of over 80. With 27 years’ expertise in our sector, and a nationwide, directly-employed workforce trained in ‘the Auger way’, our clients and customers can truly rely on us to do ‘whatever it takes’.
